Two Mountain Hawks in Top 20 After 36 Holes at MSU SoCal Spring Invitational

CAMARILLO, Calif. – Day two of the MSU SoCal Spring Invitational saw the Lehigh women's golf team improve by two strokes on its round one score. The Mountain Hawks shot 302 to sit at 606 after 36 holes of play. While only one team broke 300 in Sunday's opening round, seven shot under 300 on Monday as Lehigh sits in eighth place out of 15 teams entering Tuesday's final round.
Sophomores Alana Hall and Reese Hannon are tied for 13th place to lead Lehigh through 36 holes. Hannon led the Mountain Hawks with a two over par 73 Monday and sits at 148 (75-73). Hall was tied for the lead after an opening round 72 and shot 76 Monday. Hall made three birdies Monday, while Hannon made two and added 13 pars.
First-year Alisia Ren shot 77 Monday and is tied for 46th place at 155 (78-77). Ren finished strong with three birdies and an eagle over her final six holes.
Junior Stefania Fedun is tied for 56th place at 156 (79-77). Fedun made two birdies in round two.
First-year Bridget Yu shot 76 Monday and is tied for 70th place at 159 (83-76). Yu also carded two birdies in her second round.
Nebraska leads the team race at 10 over par 578. The Cornhuskers lead CSU Northridge by three strokes.
Notre Dame's Alexsandra Lapple is the individual leader at three under par 139. She leads Nebraska's Lauren Thiele by one stroke.
