2022 OUTDOORS: Recorded a fourth-place finish in the 400m with a time of 1:02.22 at the Lafayette Dual... Finished third in the 4x400 (4:05.22) and 11th in the 800m (2:21.61) at the Lehigh T&F Invite... Recorded second-place finishes in both the 400m (1:00.58) and 4x400 (4:08.71) at the Coach P Invitational... Was a member of the second-place 4x800 team at the Carol and John Covert Classic (4:06.08).
2022 INDOORS: Finished second overall in the DMR (4x400) and ninth in the 400m (1:04.16) at the Angry Birds Invitational... Recorded a ninth-place finish in the 500m with a PR of 1:23.53 and tenth-place finish in the 4x400 (4:07.13) at the Villanova Invitational... Finished fifth overall in the 500m at the Lafayette Dual (1:23.94)... Earned a PR in the 600m at the Rutgers Open (1:42.23)... BEFORE LEHIGH
Davey is a middle-distance specialist from Vestal, New York. Davey has won 5 Section IV titles during her time at Vestal, set three school records, and she has competed in seven different New York State Championship meets. She primarily specializes in the 800, but also runs the 400 and 1500. Off of the track, Simone was the vice president of National Honor Society, the president of interact club, and a member of the chemistry magic show. At Lehigh, Simone plans to study molecular biology and biochemistry on a pre-medical track, with hopes of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
