Bio
Why Lehigh? “Lehigh provides a great combination of rigorous academics and championship-level athletics. I immediately felt the family atmosphere and winning mentality instilled throughout the athletic programs. Not to mention, the campus is absolutely beautiful. After meeting the people and touring the facilities, it was a no-brainer.”
As a junior: Batted .273 with 10 runs scored in 30 games... missed most of final month of season before seeing pinch-running duty at Patriot League Tournament... had three hits in back-to-back wins over North Carolina A&T (3/2) and UMBC (3/3)... scored six runs in five games at Seahawk Softball Classic... went 3-for-4 with a run scored in win over Kent State (3/27) … named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore: Appeared in eight games, going 6-for-20 with three RBIs and three stolen bases before suffering season-ending injury… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… had 4.0 GPA in spring semester.
As a freshman (at Pitt): Appeared in 43 games, making 38 starts in the outfield… served as team’s leadoff hitter… finished season with .274 average… led team in triples and sacrifices and tied for team lead in stolen bases… collected both her first career hit and stolen base in the season opener victory over No. 20 Kentucky… first career triple and RBI in win over Southeastern Louisiana… had two hits against nationally-ranked James Madison… named to ACC Academic Honor Roll… NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete.
In high school: Earned multiple high school All-America honors… ranked No. 7 recruit in the nation by FloSoftball… Participated in 2016 PGF High School All-American Game…Four-time First Team All-Pennsylvania, All-Area and All-Colonial League…Two-time Pennsylvania State ‘AA’ Player of the Year…Two-time Morning Call Softball Player of the Year…Compiled a career batting average of .651 and on-base percentage of .696… holds six state records for single season hits (57), stolen bases (57) and runs (45) and career hits (207), stolen bases (192) and runs (158)… played travel softball for Pa. Chaos Gold… also played field hockey… valedictorian of high school class.
Personal: Daughter of Robert and Teresa… older brother Zac played baseball at Lebanon Valley… father played football and baseball at Muhlenberg.
