WHY LEHIGH? “Lehigh is beautiful, full of friendly people, and a place where I am challenged academically and athletically.”
LEHIGH HIGHLIGHTS: Part of Lehigh’s Second Varsity Eight, which won bronze at the Patriot League Championship behind a late surge past Bucknell … Strong in the classroom as a member of the 2018 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Four-year varsity rower for Wilmington Youth Rowing Association … Co-captain as a senior … In 2013-14, won the Head of the Christina (JV Four), the Baltimore Invitational (JV Four and Second Varsity Eight) and placed second in the Mid-Atlantic Championships (Second Varsity Eight) … The following year, finished third at the Steve Neczypor Memorial Regatta (Varsity Eight) and won the Mid-Atlantic Championships (Second Varsity Eight) … In 2015-16, part of the Second Varsity Eight which placed second in the Bill Braxton Memorial Regatta while Varsity Eight crew came in second at the Baltimore Invitational … Also part of the Varsity Eight which won the Baltimore Invitational … Then in 2016-17, placed third at the Head of the Christina (Varsity Four) … Strong in the classroom, making the Honor Roll every semester of high school … Inducted into the National Honor Society … President of volunteer council and was selected to be a senior mentor … In high school, was on a committee that put on a fundraiser that raised $143,000 for childhood cancer.
