WHY LEHIGH? “I came to Lehigh because of the IBE program. It is one of the best programs offered at any college across the nation and Lehigh, along with the University of Pennsylvania, are the only schools who offer this type of program. That was my deciding factor to come to Lehigh as opposed to any of the other schools I applied to.”

AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11): Member of a strong Freshmen Eight Crew that went on to place fifth in the semifinals of the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta (5/14). Posted a time of 6:30.06, which was less than 18 seconds out of first … Stroke one of the Varsity Lightweight Four that won the River Cup (4/16) over Lafayette with a time of 6:36.80. Rowed with the Freshmen Eight as well, which was victorious (5:44.30) … Finished third in the Petite Finals at the Knecht Cup (4/9-10) with a time of 6:30.93 … Part of the Varsity Lightweight Four crew that came in second at the Neuweiler Plate (4/2). Also a member of the Freshmen Eight that won the Neuweiler Plate (6:56.70) by 45 seconds … Stroke two of the Freshmen Eight crew that came in first at the Frostbite Regatta (11/13) with a time of 6:53.41.

BEFORE LEHIGH: Finished 16th in the 4X800m relay at the 2010 Track and Field National Scholastic Indoor Championship … Was given the Ryan Zullo Kindness Award by cross-country team, which continues to be given out each year to the athlete who is seen as the biggest team player …Mmember of the National Honor Society and National Art Honors Society.

PERSONAL: Son of Michael and Coleen Zullo … Has two siblings: Jack and Courtney … Enjoys running, art, and Horology … Lists Tyson Gay and Usain Bolt as most admired people and favorite athletes.
