Why Lehigh? “I loved the rowing program, the girls on the team and the campus. I also really liked the coaches and I’m interested in a five year education program.”
On Coach Meltzer: “She is very understanding about academic responsibilities but also great during practice, being motivational and supportive. She is also very approachable and friendly.”
On the Lehigh student-athlete experience: “There are many benefits including tutoring, study halls, also great friends and people that are supportive and great to hang out with both socially and in practice.”
Player Profile: Member of the honor roll all four years in high school…competed in the 2006 CanAmMex Regatta…placed fourth in 2006 at the US Rowing Youth Nationals…in 2007 placed seventh in the US Rowing Youth Nationals…coxed the lightweight eight team her junior year and the varsity eight team her senior year…parents are Eileen and John Sprague.
