WHY LEHIGH? “I chose Lehigh because I wanted a relatively small school with a pretty campus. I wanted a school that would challenge me and as soon as I set foot on the campus, I fell in love with it.”
ON THE COACHING STAFF: “I believe that Coach Conley is a great new addition to the Lehigh rowing program. He has brought so much excitement and has so many great ideas to improve the program. The team is already getting faster and I strongly believe that this is in part due to Coach Conley’s enthusiasm attitude and training style.”
AS A JUNIOR (2010-11): Crew member of the Men’s Varsity Four that came in second at the Lehigh River Cup (4/16) with a time of 6:21.83 ... Coxswain for the Varsity Four that advanced to the second round of the Knecht Cup (4/10) … Part of the Varsity Four crew that placed second in the final round of the Neuweiler Plate (4/2) … Coxswain for the first flight of the Varsity Four that won the Frostbite Regatta (11/13) (6:18.88) … Part of the second flight that won the Regatta as well (7:00.96).
BEFORE LEHIGH: Captain of high school crew team … Won the NYS Scholastic Championships twice … High Honor roll all four years of high school.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jon and Amy Hrichak … Enjoys being with friends, being outside and photography … Lists grandfather as most admired person and Michael Phelps as favorite athlete.
