Saw action in 36 games, including 26 starts as a designated hitter and right fielder…recorded six multi-hit games…scored multiple runs twice…post a pair of multi-RBI games…ranked third on the team in stolen bases (4).

BEFORE LEHIGH
A four-year varsity letter winner at Wissahickon High School, Rapoport was a two-time first team All-Conference selection after serving as a captain his senior season and helping guide the Trojans to a league title as a junior. In addition to his All-Conference honors, Rapoport also earned All-Southeastern Pennsylvania honors from the Philadelphia Inquirer as well as first team All-Area accolades. The Ambler, Pa. native was recognized as a Prep Baseball Report Top 25 prospect for Southeastern Pennsylvania in each of his final two seasons as well as a Perfect Game preseason Honorable Mention All-American. Rapoport, who also lettered in varsity basketball while at Wissahickon, was a member of the National Honor Society, elected a Junior Class officer and was a recipient of the Scholar-Athlete award.
