WHY LEHIGH? I chose Lehigh because it offers a world-class education, has an outstanding accounting program and I get to continue to play the sport that has meant so much to me throughout my life.
 
ON COACH LEARY: Coach Leary did an excellent job selling the school to me and really cares about us not only as athletes, but most importantly, as students. He is always looking out for us and making sure we are staying on top of everything because he wants to see us succeed. He does this by implementing habits that on the field that translate to success in our lives off the field.

2020 (SENIOR SEASON)
Started in all 13 games he appeared in, once again as the team's starting center fielder...went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs against Central Connecticut State (2/29)...Had first multi-hit game of the season at North Carolina A&T (3/6), going 2-for-5 with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored...finished the season with six walks, ending career with 78 free passes over four seasons...In the field, made 20 putouts on 22 chances for a fielding percentage of .909...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA.

2019 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Started in 47 of the 48 games he appeared in as the team's starting center fielder...led the team in triples (4) and walks (39) and also in stolen bases (9). He ranked fourth on the team in home runs (4) and third in at-bats (170)...Had three games of three hits or more at VMI (3/16), vs. Lafayette (3/24) and vs. Navy (4/14)...His 39 walks and four triples ranked second in the Patriot League...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA.

2018 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Started all 47 games he appeared as the team’s starting center fielder…tied for first on the team in triples (3) and walks (31), tied for second on the team in stolen bases (10), ranked third in doubles (7) and on-base percentage (.385), while ranking fourth in hits (39), runs (18), RBI (17), and total bases (52)…compiled a season-high four hits in a 4-for-4 performance against Bucknell (4/29)…posted a .989 fielding percentage with 85 putouts…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA in the spring semester.

2017 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Played in 11 games during his rookie campaign, while making three starts in the outfield…recorded his first-career hit with a RBI singles to contribute to a 15-4 victory over NJIT (3/26)…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA in the spring semester.

BEFORE LEHIGH
Maguire will come to Lehigh from Franklin Park, N.J. where he was a three-time first team All-Conference honoree at Immaculata High School. Maguire finished his high school career with a .411 batting average as his team’s leadoff hitter and led his squad in on-base percentage in every season, finishing with a career on-base percentage of .535. After a strong senior season in which he hit .474 with a .626 on-base percentage and 20 stolen bases, Maguire earned All-State, All-Area, All-County and All-Conference honors and was selected to represent his area in the NJSBCA Senior All-Star game which featured the top 25 players from six counties in Central New Jersey.
