2023 (5TH-YEAR SEASON)
Making 40 appearances with 37 starts in his final year, Gorla hit .302 with 39 hits, seven doubles and a career-high seven home runs to go with 18 RBI and 26 runs scored... Recorded 10 games with at least two hits, including a three-hit performance, going 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, an RBI and two runs scored against Utah Valley (3/10)... Plated a season-high three runs in a win over The Citadel when he went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk with two runs scored and three RBIs (2/26)... The final two-hit game of the season came against Army West Point where he crushed his seventh home run of the season and a double for his two hits with an RBI and two runs scored (5/6)... Was named to 2023 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was named to the Patriot League Second Team for the third time in his career...
2022 (SENIOR SEASON)
After missing time at the beginning of the season, Gorla remained to have an impact of the diamond for the Mountain Hawks... Starting all 26 games that he appeared in, he amassed 32 hits with 16 RBIs, six doubles and two home runs with 20 runs scored... Making his season debut on a four-game Patriot League weekend to open the month of April, Gorla went 7-for-13 with four RBIs, three doubles, two walks and a home run... Had a season high of three RBIs in a win over Cairn (4/28) and then had a three-hit performance, going 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs in a win over Holy Cross (5/1)... Ended the season on a six-game hitting streak and was named Academic All-League and a two-time honoree of the Patriot League Second Team...
2021 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Outstanding season, establishing himself as one of the most consistent offensive middle infielders in the Patriot League...made 43 starts in 43 games, splitting time between second and third base...finished second on the team with 48 hits and was tied for the team lead in RBIs (34)...was one of two players on the team to hit above .300 on the year, batting .322 with a .930 OPS...was fifth in the Patriot League in batting, fourth in hits and tied for third in RBIs...named a Second Team All-Patriot League selection at second base...was one of three players featured on the Patriot League All-Tournament Team...had a career game vs. Navy (5/15) in Game 1 of the Patriot League semifinals, going 5-for-5 with two homers and three RBIs...finished second on the team with 13 multi-hit games including three with three and one with four...led the team with nine multi-RBI games including a four RBI performance in a victory at Lafayette (3/27)...ended season on a team-best eight game reached base streak...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
