2023 (5TH-YEAR SEASON)
Etched his named into Lehigh's record book with in career home runs (21) and at-bats (739)... Ended the season with a .269 batting average, playing in 49 games with 48 starts and a career-high 182 at-bats on the year and had 49 hits to become the seventh Mountain Hawk to reach 200 career hits... Plated 27 RBIs while bringing home two or more runners on six occasions and 14 multi-hit games, including collecting four hits in a win over Utah Valley, going 4-for-6 with three RBIs (3/11)... Ended his career with a three-hit game, going 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a home run in a win over Holy Cross... 

2022 (SENIOR SEASON)
Sweeney turned in nine games with multiple runs batted in to reach a career high 33 RBIs and collected 37  in 11 multi-hit games with six home runs in 38 starts and appearances. Opened the senior campaign with a two-hit, four RBI performance and a home run against FDU (3/15)... Plated a season-high five RBIs with a home run on two hits in a win over St. Bonaventure (3/20)... Recorded two hits in three consecutive games, going 6-for-12 with five RBIs... Honored as Patriot League Player of the Week (3/22)...

2021 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Stellar third season with a slow start and strong finish, helping the Mountain Hawks reach the Patriot League Championship Series for the first time in six years...played 43 games with 42 starts splitting time between the hot corners throughout the year...finished fourth on the team in hits (46), fourth in average (.289), but led the team in home runs (7)...ended season as team's hottest hitter, batting .393 (24-for-61) with five homers, five doubles and 15 RBIs in the final 15 games of the year...named to the Patriot League All-Tournament team after hitting .417 with 10 hits, three homers and five RBIs in six postseason games...named Patriot League Player of the Week twice (3/16, 5/11)...finished fourth on the team in multi-hit games (11), including five three-hit performances...earned Preseason All-Patriot League honors from Perfect Game.

2020 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Appeared in all 15 games, making 15 starts at third base...hit .292 on the year, second on the team for qualified hitters...also led teammates with 19 hits and was third with a .343 on-base percentage...ranked second on the team with five multi-hit games...went 4-for-5 with a run scored at Richmond (2/22)...Closed weekend at Richmond (2/23) with a 2-for-4 game, with an RBI and a walk...went 3-for-5 with a double vs. Coppin State (3/4)...had a 3-for-6 day with a double and a homer at North Carolina A&T (3/7), also scoring three times...also finished with 25 fielding assists and five putouts on the year...ended shortened season on a six-game on-base streak.

2019 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Started all 48 games he played in as the team's primary third baseman...was third on the team in batting average (.289) with a league mark of .306, which ranked second....his 52 hits ranked third on the team and 11th in the Patriot League...walked 29 times, Lehigh's third most and had an on-base percentage of .395...his 13 multi-hit games ranked second on the team and had one four-hit game at Lynchburg (3/14)...ended 2019 on a six-game hitting streak.

BEFORE LEHIGH
The two-year team captain who capped off his career as Shipley’s all-time leader in career hits and RBIs…led Shipley to four-straight Friends School League titles and a school-record 23 wins in 2018…was a four-time First Team All-Main Line selection, a four-time First Team All-Friends School League selection and a two-time First Team All-Southeastern PA honoree…three-time Carpenter Cup participant…ended his high school career by hitting .575 as a senior with 42 RBIs, 30 runs, five doubles, five triples and three home runs.
