Why Lehigh?: “All of my dreams for softball and academics came together at Lehigh. The team vibe is family and the coaches are so supportive. I think this is a place where I can really thrive.”
As a first-year: Appeared in four games, throwing 5.2 innings in the circle… debuted with 0.2 scoreless innings of relief against Fairfield (2/19)… struck out three in 2.2 innings at Penn (3/30).
In high school: First team all-league as a sophomore and a senior… second team all-league as a freshman… team captain and league Pitcher of the Year runner-up as a senior… voted Most Likely to Become a Professional Athlete in her class… Saints in Christ Character Award… batted .438 and led league in strikeouts as a sophomore… set school record with 17 strikeouts in one game… Rookie of the Year as a freshman… played travel softball for Athletics Mercado Ornelas… also lettered in tennis… Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year… Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society… National Honor Society member… Elite Scholar-Athlete every semester.
