2014 (SENIOR SEASON)
Saw action in 47 games, making 46 starts, primarily as a designated hitter…co-captain…led the team with three home runs…finished the season with a .253 batting average, 24 RBI and 17 runs scored…named to the All-Patriot League Tournament team…recorded two doubles, two RBI and a run scored in game one of the Patriot League Championship series at Bucknell…hit .250 with a homerun and two runs scored in the Patriot League Semifinals at Army…went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored in a 9-3 win over Coppin State...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2013 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Started all 47 games for the Mountain Hawks in the first base or designated hitter position…tied a game against Mount St. Mary’s with a three run homer in the ninth inning…had the game-tying home run and the game-winning RBI single in a 10-inning win against Army on April 6…went 4-for-5 and scored three runs at Saint Joseph’s…hit a flawless 3-for-3 in the series opener against Holy Cross.
2012 (SOPHOMOREÂ SEASON)
Appeared in 33 games, making 29 starts…finished the season batting .319…put together a 10-game hitting streak from February 26 – March 14, going 15-for-34 (.441) with four doubles, six RBI, and six runs scored…collected a career-high four hits at Delaware State including three doubles, two RBI and three runs scored…went 2-for-3 with a RBI, run scored and a season-high three stolen bases in the second half of a doubleheader against Lafayette…finished the season on a four-game hitting streak, going 8-for-15 (.533) with a double, two RBI and two runs scored…collected 10 multi-hit games on the season.
2011 (FRESHMANÂ SEASON)
Played four games…scored a run against Ohio University (2/27).

BEFORE LEHIGH
Tyler Brong, a first baseman from Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pa., earned the Jasper Award as a freshman for winning the District 11 Championship. A three-time selection for the Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup Team, Brong won the Liberty High School hitting award as a sophomore and senior, being named second team All-Conference in 2008 and 2009, and first team All-Conference in 2010. A team captain as a senior, Brong also won the Bernie Fritz award in 2010 and graduated with high honors.
