BEFORE LEHIGH
Torres is the latest Perkiomen School pitcher to join the ranks at Lehigh, following in recent MLB Draft pick Levi Stoudt's footsteps. His team won their league title in 2019 and finished runner-up in the state tournament. Torres finished his senior season with a 5-2 record with 75 strikeouts in just 38 innings. He thrived in the rotation with a 1.20 ERA and was named to the Pottstown Mercury All-Area Team. He began his collegiate tenure at Lehigh as the third-ranked pitcher from Puerto Rico in the Class of 2023 and the 18th overall player. In the classroom, Torres finished with high honors every academic year.
