2023 (5TH-YEAR SEASON)
Rettig etched his name in the career pitching records in Lehigh's record book during his final year in the program... The Mountain Hawks' ace was selected as the Preseason Pitcher of the Year and went 6-4 through 12 starts with a 3.24 ERA, striking out 65 and walking 21 in 58.1 innings... Rettig finished with three complete games and a two-hit shutout with a 1.10 WHIP... He broke the school record for strikeouts in a career, ending with 272 and breaking the previous record by 10 strikeouts... During league play, Rettig recorded 38 Ks with three complete games and a shutout in 36 innings with a 2-4 record... Selected to the Patriot League Second Team...

2022 (SENIOR SEASON) 
A career-year for Rettig landed him on the Patriot League First Team after going 8-2 in 13 appearances with two complete games and shutouts... Eight wins in a season is tied for second all time in Lehigh history... Throwing 71.1 innings, he was able to command the ball in each outing, striking out 71 batters  without giving up a single home run... Had a season-high 10 strikeouts in a one-hit win over Mount St. Mary's... Recorded seven or more strikeouts on five occasions... Picked up ABCA All-Region honors and All-ECAC Honorable Mention accolades...

2021 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Completed another strong year as one of the top pitchers of the starting rotation, capped off by being named a Second Team All-Patriot League selection...went 3-4 with a 3.59 ERA in 13 appearances, making nine starts. Struck out 62 batters, ranked third on the team...struck out a season-high 10 batters without allowing a run against Lafayette (4/14)...pitched a masterpiece in Game 3 of the Patriot League Semifinals vs. Navy (5/16), throwing seven shutout innings with eight strikeouts and only allowing three hits as the Mountain Hawks advanced to the PLCS for the first time since 2015.

2020 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Took an even bigger step forward as a key member of the starting rotation, making four starts on the season...led all qualified starting pitchers in ERA (3.52), walks allowed (7) and was second in batting average against (.239)...pitched six innings of work at Richmond (2/23), scattering six hits while striking out nine batters...allowed just one earned run in seven innings with nine strikeouts and two walks in a victory over CCSU (3/1)...best start of the year came at North Carolina A&T (3/8), throwing seven shutout innings with only four hits given up...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 

2019 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Solid rookie campaign that saw him make 12 appearances, including 10 starts as one of the main pieces of the starting rotation late in the season...led all freshman pitchers in strikeouts (47) and innings pitched (50)...Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week (4/16) after picking up his first collegiate victory vs. Navy (4/14), allowing just two runs on seven hits over 6.2 innings, while tallying five strikeouts and just one walk.

BEFORE LEHIGH
Began his high school career at Wilmington Christian (Del.) before transferring to Oxford Area (Pa.) for his senior season…helped Wilmington Christian reach the state playoffs for the first time in school history…led Oxford Area to its first-ever Ches-Mont American Division title and first winning season since 2007…earned DISC Second Team All-Conference honors in his junior season as he tossed a no-hitter while finishing the season with a 0.92 ERA and 111 strikeouts in 50 innings of work…earned First Team All-Ches-Mont and DLN First Team All-Area honors as a senior…posted a 7-0 record with 86 strikeouts and a 0.32 ERA in 43 innings in his senior season…four-year honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society.
