WHY LEHIGH?: Lehigh University provided me with a great opportunity to get a top of the line education while also allowing me to continue a lifelong dream to play Division 1 baseball. Lehigh has also given me the chance to play close to home, and it was important to me to hopefully encourage local kids as well that there is a great opportunity for them nearby.

ON COACH LEARY: Coach Leary is everything that I expected him to be. During the recruiting process I thought that there was no way that he was going to be as approachable as he is, but he is extremely genuine. He is a real players coach and I couldn’t be happier with the relationship that we have built.

2021 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Appeared in 24 games, making 19 starts in center field before missing the rest of the season due to injury...finished the season with 10 hits and stole six bases in seven attempts...made a spectacular diving grab against Lafayette (3/21) that was No. 5 on NCAA Baseball's Top Plays.

2020 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Did not see action...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

BEFORE LEHIGH
Hubbard's local ties with Lehigh make him a perfect fit for the Mountain Hawks' roster, as he spent three years as a varsity starter at Easton, playing center field and batting leadoff in all three seasons. In 2019, Hubbard hit .412 with 26 hits, three doubles, three triples and two home runs. He was named a First Team EPC All-Area selection, a First Team Morning Call All-Area selection and a First Team Lehigh Valley Live All-Area selection. In 2018 during his junior season, Hubbard broke Easton's batting average record by going .587 with five doubles, seven triples and two home runs, including 28 runs scored in 15 games. Hubbard was the EPC's MVP, a member of the First Team All-Area for the EPC, Morning Call and Lehigh Valley Live and was named the Terry Bartolet EAHS MVP award winner. In the classroom, he was a member of the National Honors Society and was the 2019 EAHS Baseball Scholar Athlete.
