Marquez Adds Albrecht, Ciliotta to Women's Wrestling Staff

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's wrestling head coach Brazel Marquez has announced the additions of Kaylynn Albrecht and Justin Ciliotta to the Mountain Hawks' coaching staff. Albrecht and Ciliotta will serve as assistant coaches with Ciliotta also serving as Lehigh's director of operations.

"We are extremely excited to add to our staff this year as our program continues to evolve and develop," said Marquez. "Kaylynn and Justin will be huge assets for our program who will help meet the elevated needs and demands of our program."

Albrecht was a U.S. National team member in 2025-26. She graduated from McKendree University in December 2025 and has been training at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Albrecht secured her spot on the U.S. National Team by securing true third place at 72 kg at Final X 2025. She is a three-time U.S. Open place winner who owns third and fourth place finishes at the World Team Trials.

Internationally, Albrecht owns four gold medals, winning twice at the Henri Delagne Grand Prix of France, and once at both the Poland Open and Spanish Grand Prix. She owns a pair of bronze medals at the Bill Farrell Memorial International.

Albrecht won a NAIA Championship in 2023 and was runner-up at the 2022 NAIA National Invitational and the 2025 NCWWC Nationals.

At USA Wrestling's age-group levels, Albrecht won a U23 national championship in 2023, finished third at U23 Nationals in 2022, and won a Junior Girls Folkstyle Nationals title in 2019.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Albrecht was a Texas 6A state finalist and two-time place winner. She graduated from McKendree with a bachelor's degree in psychology.

"Kaylynn brings a ton of passion and empathy, along with a drive to be great and a desire to pour into those around her," Marquez said. "She has a strong foundation in knowing who she is and is willing to find out more about herself. She uses wrestling and having a team to do so and fill her cup. Kaylynn is going to train for 2028 here and she's going to give her all to our women who also have the same dreams and desires. I'm excited to see all the she brings to the table."

Ciliotta brings 18 years of experience in freestyle and folkstyle wrestling to the Lehigh program. A native of Montville, N.J., Ciliotta wrestled collegiately at Stevens Institute of Technology from 2022 to 2026, competing at 141 and 149 pounds.

At Stevens, Ciliotta was a two-time Scholar All-American and served as a captain of the wrestling team. He was also the recipient of the Stevens Wrestling Coaches Award, recognizing him as a valuable extension of the coaching staff, a supportive mentor to his teammates, and a leader in the program's mentality and philosophies. Ciliotta also received the Stevens Wrestling "One More" Award, the program's most coveted honor, which is awarded to the wrestler who best embodies the program's "One More" motto through extra effort in every facet of life, both on and off the mat.

Prior to Stevens, Ciliotta wrestled at Montville Township High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in Engineering Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing graduate studies in Aerospace and Space Systems Engineering at Lehigh.

"Justin is going to be an important part of the program who will fill in all the gaps administratively, while also training our athletes to reach their optimal potential," Marquez said. "He is patient, caring, a workhorse, smart and diligent. He will help bridge gaps in his director of operations role, assist with systematic development and will be on the mats working with our athletes.

"With five coaches, our staff is now incredibly well-rounded and well-positioned to help athletes across all of our weight classes pursue excellence."
