No. 6 Lehigh to Face No. 3 Boston University in Patriot League Quarterfinals Tuesday Night in Boston

BOSTON, Mass. – No. 6 seed Lehigh will take on No. 3 seed Boston University at 6 p.m. Tuesday on ESPN+ in the Patriot League quarterfinals in Boston.
Lehigh finished the regular season 4-4 in Patriot League play and 7-7 overall, winning its final two games to clinch the No. 6 seed in the tournament.
Boston University concluded its regular season 6-2 in Patriot League play and 8-5 overall. The Mountain Hawks and Terriers met earlier this season on March 7 at the Ulrich Sports Complex, where BU earned a 14-13 overtime victory.
Lehigh leads the all-time series 9-6. The last postseason meeting came in 2024, when the Mountain Hawks defeated Boston University 11-10 in the Patriot League championship game.
The Mountain Hawks secured their tournament berth after sitting in seventh place on April 17, closing the regular season with wins over Navy and Lafayette.
In the win over Navy, Lehigh's offense was balanced with nine different goal scorers and 10 players recording assists. Finn Morgan, the Patriot League Rookie of the Year, and Luke Winkler, an All-Patriot League Second Team selection, each scored four goals in the victory, with Morgan also adding three assists for a career high.
In Friday's win over Lafayette, Morgan again led Lehigh with six points on four goals and two assists, marking his 11th hat trick or better of the season. Andrew Kelly and Luke Breslin, an All-Patriot League First Team selection, each added four points, while Kasey Heath, an All-Patriot League Second Team honoree, anchored the defense with 19 saves.Up Next
