Lehigh to Host Loyola in Patriot League Quarterfinals

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh Mountain Hawks will host the Loyola Maryland Greyhounds on Monday at 6 p.m. in the Patriot League quarterfinals.
Lehigh finished the regular season 11-7 in Patriot League play, earning the No. 4 seed in the Patriot League Tournament, and went 15-13 overall. Loyola finished 8-10 in Patriot League play, earning the No. 5 seed in the Patriot League Tournament, and went 12-17 overall.
Lehigh and Loyola met twice this season, with the Mountain Hawks winning both matchups by a combined seven points. Most recently, Lehigh defeated Loyola 63-62 on Feb. 4. In the win, Lehigh had four players score in double figures. Belle Bramer finished with 11 points, Lily Fandre added 14, and Katie Hurt scored a career-high 10 points. Whitney Lind led the Mountain Hawks with 17 points, shooting 6-of-12 from the field and knocking down three 3-pointers.
Senior forward Lily Fandre was named First Team All-Patriot League. Junior forward Whitney Lind earned Third Team All-Patriot League honors, while first-year forward Leia Edwards was named to the Patriot League All-Rookie Team, the league announced Friday afternoon.Â
Fandre had a standout season, earning First Team All-Patriot League honors after leading the league in scoring at 16.6 points per game while shooting 42.2% from the field. Fandre also earned Patriot League Player of the Week honors twice during the season.
Lind also had an impressive season, earning Third Team All-Patriot League honors while averaging 13.9 points per game. She shot 41% from the field and 36% from 3-point range.
First-year Leia Edwards turned in an outstanding rookie campaign, earning Patriot League All-Rookie Team honors. In 13 games, she averaged 13.4 points while shooting 48.4% from the field. Edwards was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week four times during the season.
In 2025, Lehigh defeated Boston University, Holy Cross and Army on their way to becoming Patriot League champions.
