Mountain Hawks Named USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, Three Earn Individual Distinction

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's and women's track and field were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as All-Academic Teams on Monday afternoon. In addition, three men's track & field athletes were named All-Academic athletes by the USTFCCCA.
Teams earn All-Academic status by having a combined 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or higher for the entire academic year. The men posted a 3.40 GPA while the women had a 3.56 GPA.
In order to earn All-Academic status, a player must have a GPA of at least 3.25 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and meet certain athletic requirements as well. Gideon Coprivnicar, Harry Keen and Greg Stagliano all received All-Academic recognition.
Coprivnicar posted a 3.49 GPA, Keen posted a 3.95 GPA and Stagliano posted a 3.74 GPA. Coprivnicar placed second in the decathlon at the Outdoor Patriot League Championships while both Keen and Stagliano competed in the NCAA East Regional.
