
Lehigh Lands Pineda, Fedun on Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh senior Madison Pineda and sophomore Stefania Fedun have been selected to the Academic All-Patriot League Team for women's golf, announced Friday. With her selection, Pineda is now a three-time Academic All-Patriot League honoree.

To be eligible for Scholar-Athlete of the Year or the Academic All-Patriot League Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor. The team is voted on by the league's sports information directors.

A bioengineering major with a 3.63 GPA, Pineda is a three-year member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and has been recognized by the WGCA as an All-American Scholar in each of her first three seasons. A three-time All-Patriot League performer and the 2022 Rookie of the Year on the course, Pineda finished first or second among Lehigh players in seven of nine tournaments during the 2024-25 season. She finished 16th at last month's Patriot League Championship.

Fedun was Lehigh's top finisher at the Patriot League Championship, earning first team All-Patriot League honors with a fifth place finish. The league championship tournament was one of two events Fedun was the Mountain Hawks' top finisher in during the season. Fedun led Lehigh with a 77.31 scoring average this past season. Academically, Fedun holds a 3.56 GPA in Lehigh's integrated curriculum program. Fedun was a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and a WGCA All-American Scholar in 2024.
