BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh wrestlers will be back on the mats this weekend in Las Vegas. Eleven current or former Lehigh wrestlers are expected to compete for the Lehigh Valley Wrestling Regional Training Center at the 2025 CLAW U.S. Open Senior and U20 Nationals with action for Lehigh athletes beginning Thursday and running through Sunday.

First-year Jadon Skellenger will kick off competition for Lehigh athletes when he wrestles in the 72 kg Open competition in Greco-Roman, beginning Thursday. Skellenger, a former age group world team member and world champion in Greco-Roman, is the No. 8 seed at 72 kg.

The U.S. Open for senior men's freestyle will run Friday-Saturday with junior Sheldon Seymour (57 kg), senior Max Brignola (74 kg), junior JT Davis (92 kg) and Jordan Wood '22 (125 kg) slated to compete. Seymour (No. 6) and Wood (No. 5) earned top eight seeds at their respective weight classes.

Action will conclude with the U20 Nationals set for Saturday-Sunday. Six Lehigh wrestlers are expected to compete in the U20 division: Mason Ziegler (57 kg), Luke Stanich (65 kg), Seamus Mack (65 kg), Griffin Gonzalez (74 kg), Zeke Dubler (79 kg) and Calvin Lachman (125 kg).
