3/4/2025 4:31:00 PM | Women's Basketball

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's basketball will wrap up the regular season with a game at Colgate on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Mountain Hawks, who are 24-5 (15-2 PL), will face the Raiders, who are 22-8 (8-5 PL). The game will be broadcast on ESPN+, with audio coverage available on FOX Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM and LVFOXSports.com.

Lehigh secured the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Championship and clinched its third all-time regular-season title with a 76-61 win over Army on March 1.

Five Mountain Hawks scored in double figures, led by senior guard Ella Stemmer with 18 points. Fifth-year wing Maddie Albrecht and junior forward Lily Fandre both added 14 points, while senior forward Meghan O'Brien contributed 13 points. Senior guard Colleen McQuillen rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points and a game-high seven assists.

After trailing by four at the end of the first quarter, Lehigh outscored Army 27-13 in the second to take a 42-32 lead at halftime. The Mountain Hawks maintained their advantage in the second half, despite the Black Knights trimming the lead to as few as four points.

The Mountain Hawks have three players averaging double figures, led by Albrecht with 15.8 points per game. Stemmer follows with 11.8 points per game, and Fandre adds 10.1 points per game. Albrecht also leads the team with 5.2 rebounds per game, while O'Brien is averaging 4.2 boards per game and is just one rebound shy of 500 for her career, which would make her the 29th player in program history to reach that milestone.
Colgate is coming off an 84-63 victory against American on March 1. Four Raiders scored in double figures, with Anne Bair leading the way with 22 points.

The Raiders are led by Taylor Golembiewski, who is averaging 13.7 points per game.

Wednesday's game will mark the second meeting of the season between Lehigh and Colgate. The Mountain Hawks suffered their first league loss of the season to the Raiders, falling 70-66 on Jan. 8. Colgate opened the game with a 12-0 run and built a 22-point lead in the third quarter. Lehigh fought back and cut the deficit to three in the fourth, but the Raiders held on for the win. Albrecht scored a game-high 21 points, while sophomore guard Gracyn Lovette added 14 points.

Lehigh holds a 48-31 all-time record against Colgate.

Following the regular season finale, Lehigh will host a Patriot League Quarterfinal on Monday at 6 p.m. against an opponent to be determined. Tickets can be purchased here.
