BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The top-seeded Lehigh women's basketball team will host No. 5 Holy Cross in the Patriot League semifinals Thursday at 6 p.m. at Stabler Arena. Faculty and staff can purchase tickets through LehighTickets.com, while students can simply swipe their Lehigh ID upon entry to the arena, with their student ticket covered by Student Auxiliary Services.

Thursday's game will feature a Brown-Out theme, with the first 300 fans receiving a free t-shirt.

Lehigh advanced to the semifinals for the first time since 2023 after defeating Boston University 62-44 in the quarterfinals on March 10. Fifth-year wing Maddie Albrecht and junior forward Lily Fandre both scored 16 points to lead the way in the win, while senior guard Ella Stemmer added 11 points, also finishing in double figures.

From the tip-off, Lehigh controlled the game, with Fandre scoring the opening bucket. The Mountain Hawks maintained their lead throughout the entire contest.

Holy Cross also won its quarterfinal matchup, defeating Navy 66-52 on March 10. Lindsay Berger led the Crusaders with 19 points, and was one of five players to score in double figures. Kendall Eddy added 15, while Kaitlyn Flanagan, Simone Foreman, and Meg Cahalan contributed 11, 11, and 10 points, respectively. The Crusaders jumped out to a 15-6 advantage after the first frame and held onto the lead.

Lehigh won both regular season meetings against Holy Cross this year, first claiming a 60-47 victory on February 1 at Stabler Arena and then securing a thrilling 69-59 overtime win at the Hart Center on February 15., Lehigh outscored Holy Cross 14-4 in overtime, with senior guard Remi Sisselman scoring eight of her 12 points in the final five minutes to seal the win.

The last time Lehigh played in the semifinals was on March 9, 2023, when Holy Cross defeated the Mountain Hawks 71-54. The Crusaders, back-to-back Patriot League champions, have won seven consecutive Patriot League Tournament games. Lehigh is 4-9 all-time against Holy Cross in the tournament.

If Lehigh wins on Thursday, it would mark the team's first championship appearance since 2021, when the Mountain Hawks claimed the title with a 64-54 victory over Boston University. If the Mountain Hawks win, they would host the winner of the other semifinal game, which is No. 2 Army versus No. 6 Bucknell, with the championship set for 12 p.m. Sunday.

Thursday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ while radio coverage will be aired Fox Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM.
