TULSA, Okla. – The eighth-ranked Lehigh men's wrestling team went 1-2 Saturday at the National Duals Invitational, presented by Paycom, at BOK Center. The Mountain Hawks began the day with a 35-7 setback to second-ranked Nebraska, then came back to defeat Arizona State 24-18 in the first round of consolations. Lehigh's final dual of the day was a 21-13 loss to No. 15 Illinois, which eliminated the Mountain Hawks from the competition.
Graduate student Sheldon Seymour went 3-0 at 125 to lead the way for the Mountain Hawks. Sophomore Logan Rozynski (157) and senior Max Brignola (165) both won two bouts Saturday. Rozynski had one of the day's biggest wins as he knocked off defending NCAA champion Antrell Taylor of Nebraska by a 9-1 major decision in Lehigh's first match of the day.

In the final seconds, Koehler secured a reversal with Seymour holding on for the 4-3 decision. Rozynski delivered Lehigh's other win against Nebraska. Late in the first period, Rozynski rolled the top-ranked Cornhusker onto his back with a headlock for a takedown and four-point near fall. He added an escape and a penalty point to take the 9-1 major decision.
The Mountain Hawks had a 6-4 match split against Arizona State. Seymour started things off with a second-period pin over Anee Vigil before the Sun Devils rolled off three straight bonus wins to take a 14-3 lead. Rozynski edged Chance McLane 2-1 with a penalty point for locked hands and an escape to start a five-win Lehigh run that was capped by a first period pin by junior Remy Brancato-Roed in his dual meet debut over Max Acciardi in 2:27 to clinch the dual for the Brown and White.
In its third dual of the day, Lehigh won four of the first six against No. 15 Illinois before the fighting Illini rallied to win the final four bouts. Seymour and Brignola picked up wins by decision over ranked opponents as Lehigh led 13-8 after six bouts. Chris Moore edged junior Rylan Rogers 2-2 on riding time in the tiebreakers to put the Fighting Illini ahead for good.
