BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After a two-game homestand, Lehigh men's basketball hits the road to take on the Holy Cross Crusaders in Worcester, Massachusetts on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Hart Center.

Holy Cross (11-11, 3-6 PL) leads Lehigh (7-13, 2-7 PL) 45-31 in the all-time series between the two schools, however, the Mountain Hawks have enjoyed more success in the series recently. Lehigh has won seven of the last ten meetings, including a 78-72 victory in the last matchup on January 27, 2024.

If Lehigh wins, they would earn their eighth win of the season and improve to 3-7 in Patriot League play. Head coach Dr. Brett Reed's all-time record against Holy Cross would improve to 22-15.

Following Saturday's dominant victory over rival Lafayette, Lehigh men's basketball returned to Stabler Arena on Wednesday evening to host Navy for Coaches vs. Cancer and Salute to Service, presented by Weis Markets. The Mountain Hawks struggled offensively and ultimately fell to the Midshipmen 79-54. Navy shot an efficient 50.0% (29-58) from the field and 47.1 (8-17) from three while Lehigh posted marks of 37.3% (19-51) and 50.0% (8-16) from downtown. The Midshipmen earned a massive 38-21 advantage on the glass and shot 92.9% (13-14) from the free throw line compared to Lehigh's 57.1% (8-14). Edouard Benoit led the Mountain Hawks offensively with 15 points on 5-7 shooting and 4-5 from three. Joining him in double-figures was senior Tyler Whitney-Sidney with 13 points and Hank Alvey with 12 points.

The Crusaders entered league play as the only team with a winning record in head coach Dave Paulsen's second year at the helm of the program. Holy Cross now finds themselves with an 11-11 record and 3-6 mark in Patriot League play. The Crusaders last played on Monday evening against Boston University on CBS Sports Network, falling 69-59. Freshman Max Green leads the team offensively at 14.5 points per game and assists at 3.7 per game. Green leads the league with seven Patriot League Rookie of the Week selections. Sophomore Joe Nugent (12.8 ppg) and senior Caleb Kenney (10.8 ppg) also average double-figures for Holy Cross.

Following Saturday's game, the Mountain Hawks return to Stabler Arena to host Colgate on Monday, February 3 at 6 p.m. as part of the Patriot League's partnership with CBS Sports Network.

Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and can be listened to on Fox Sports 94.7 FM and 1230 AM.
