Hunt Earns Honorable Mention All-American Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After earning Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year laurels, senior goalkeeper Hayley Hunt was named a Honorable Mention All-American, USA Lacrosse announced Thursday morning.

Hunt was the first Mountain Hawk to be named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year, announced on April 29.. The first team goalkeeper led Lehigh in ground balls with 47 and ranked third in caused turnovers with 13.

In goal, Hunt recorded nine games with at least ten saves. Across the Patriot League, Hunt ranks first in save percentage (.495), saves (183) and saves per game (10.76), sitting in sixth in the NCAA in save percentage, fifth in saves and ranking seventh in saves per game.

This season, the Philadelphia, Pa. native rounded out her career in the top five all-time career saves at Lehigh, surpassing the 500 career saves mark in her three year career in Bethlehem. She was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week three times and honorable mention twice.

Lehigh concluded the 2024 season with an overall record of 8-9 and 3-6 in Patriot League play.
