Mountain Hawks Host Senior Day on Saturday vs. Holy Cross

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men's lacrosse hosts Holy Cross on Senior Day on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Prior to the game, Lehigh will honor its 12 seniors. The Mountain Hawks are looking to bounce back against the Crusaders after suffering a 12-10 loss to No. 14 Princeton on April 2 and a 12-10 loss to Loyola on March 29. Lehigh comes into the game with a 4-6 record (2-2 PL). Holy Cross is 2-7 (0-5 PL).
Saturday's game will broadcast on ESPN+. Students will get in for free, while others can purchase tickets here or by calling 610-7LU-GAME. Â
The Mountain Hawks held a three-goal lead in the third quarter against Princeton, but the Tigers scored four answered goals to regain the lead, and they would not look back from there. Andrew Kelly, Hunter Polonkey and Grant Rodny all recorded two goals apiece to lead the way for Lehigh against Princeton.
Junior faceoff specialist Sean Dow has dominated the past three games at the stripe, winning 69% of his faceoffs on 48 wins in 69 attempts. Dow owns a 52.2% win percentage at the stripe. Lehigh comes into the game with a faceoff advantage, winning 50.8% of its battles. The Crusaders have won just 37.9% of their faceoff attempts.Â
The Mountain Hawks have six players who have recorded double digit points. Scott Cole leads the way with a team-high of 30 points (24G, 6A), and Kelly is next with 23 points (18G, 5A). Quinn Armstrong has put up 17 points (12G, 5A), Grant Rodny has scored 15 points (12G, 3A), Dakota Eierman has recorded 11 points (9G, 2A), and EJ Vasile has recorded 10 points on 10 goals.Â
