Men's Tennis Welcomes Lafayette For The Rivalry

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After a busy weekend on the road, Lehigh men's tennis returns to Bethlehem for one final home match on Tuesday. The Mountain Hawks will welcome Lafayette College to the Ulrich Varsity Tennis Courts for the Rivalry presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute.
Lehigh (10-10, 3-3 PL) traveled to the northeast for a three-match Patriot League road trip, taking on Holy Cross and Boston U. on the road while playing Army West Point at a neutral site in Boston. The Mountain Hawks went 1-2 across the weekend, earning a 4-1 win over the Crusaders on Friday while falling 4-3 to the Black Knights on Saturday and 4-1 to the Terriers on Sunday. Prior to their road trip, Lehigh welcomed Wagner for a home meet this past Tuesday, defeating the Seahawks 4-0.
Lafayette (8-12, 1-4 PL) also competed against Patriot League competition this past weekend, welcoming the Loyola (Md.) Greyhounds to Easton. The Leopards opened the dual with a win in doubles play, but dropped four singles matches to the Greyhounds to fall to 1-4 in Patriot League play.
The Mountain Hawks and Leopards are scheduled to begin play from the Ulrich Varsity Tennis Courts at 4 p.m.
