BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After kicking off their spring campaign at Lake Nockamixon in nearby Quakertown last weekend, Lehigh rowing is getting ready for their second competition this season at the Knecht Cup in Cherry Hill, N.J. The Mountain Hawks will join 58 other schools in attendance at the weekend's races.

The Mountain Hawks got off to a great start in their first weekend of races, facing off against the likes of Loyola (Md.), Fairfield and Iona at Lake Nockamixon. The women's first varisty eight+ showed out, winning both of their races to claim the Patriot League's Boat of the Week distinction.

The Knecht Cup will take place throughout Saturday and Sunday, and Lehigh will be competing in several competitions. The Mountain Hawks will be racing four women's boats (1v8+, 2v8+, 1v4+, Novice 4+) and three men's boats (1v8+, 2v8+, Novice 4+). Each boat race in the morning to early afternoon on Saturday, and those who qualify will compete in the semifinals later that afternoon. Finals races will take place on Sunday.
