Eberhardt, Martel Earn Patriot League Weekly Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Following a 10-8 win over Old Dominion on Saturday, two Mountain Hawks earned Patriot League weekly awards, the league office announced Monday afternoon. Graduate student Emma Eberhardt earned Attacker of the Week honors while first-year Grace Martel was named the Rookie of the Week.

Eberhardt exploded for six goals in the victory, contributing one assist and compiling seven points. The six-goal effort ties the graduate student's single game career high set against Bucknell in March 2021. The graduate student leads Lehigh with 14 goals and three assists on the young season.

Martel scored a pair of goals in the win at two critical points to secure Lehigh's second win in a row. Her first goal was a go-ahead goal (4-3) in the second quarter while her second knotted the game up at 7-7 in the third quarter. On the season, the rookie has tallied five goals, five draw controls, three caused turnovers and two ground balls.

The Mountain Hawks return home on Saturday at noon to play host to American in the Patriot League opener.
