Lehigh, Loyola Battle it out Sunday Afternoon

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's basketball hits the road for a Sunday matinee matchup against Loyola. Game time is slated for a 2 p.m. tip-off at Reitz Arena.Â
Lehigh comes into Sunday's game with a 14-9 overall record and a 6-6 record in Patriot League play. The Greyhounds are 12-11 (7-5 PL).Â
The Mountain Hawks are coming off a 54-49 loss to Bucknell on Wednesday. Before the loss, Lehigh had won two straight games, with both games coming down to one possession. The Greyhounds have won their last three games and most recently defeated Lafayette 76-51 on Feb. 14. Â
Lehigh struggled offensively in the game against the Bison, shooting 28.3% from the floor. While the Mountain Hawks were down by 16 points at the end of the third quarter, Lehigh cut Bucknell's lead to two, but the Bison hit some big shots down the stretch to secure the win.
Lehigh's 49 points marked just the second time this season that the Mountain Hawks finished with less than 50 points. The first game came against Navy on Jan. 31, when Lehigh recorded a season-low of 46 points.
Colleen McQuillen scored a team-high of 12 points against Bucknell, while Lily Fandre and Ella Stemmer both added 10 points. Fandre extended her streak of scoring in double figures to a team-best of six straight games.Â
The sophomore is second on the team in points per game (12.1) and rebounds per game (5.7).Â
Meghan O'Brien had a team-high of eight rebounds against the Bison. O'Brien brings home a team-high of 6.2 rebounds while also adding 9.6 points per game. She also averages 1.2 blocks per game, which ranks fourth in the Patriot League.
Lex Therien averages a double-double for Loyola, recording 15.8 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game. Therien is the lone Greyhound averaging double figures.Â
Lehigh is 18-8 all-time against Loyola and dropped the first meeting of the season to the Greyhounds, falling 73-65 on Jan. 6.
Fandre tallied a career-high of 25 points after going 9-of-17 from the field. Lehigh shot over 46% in the first meeting, but the Greyhounds had an edge, shooting 53.8% from the field. Laura Salmeron and Therien both had a team-high of 20 points for Loyola.
Sunday's game will be aired on ESPN+ with live radio coverage on Fox Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM.Â
