Mountain Hawks Look to Continue Streak against Lafayette

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Rivalry, presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, returns to Jacobs Pool on Friday as Lehigh men's swimming and diving hosts Lafayette at 6 p.m. at Jacobs Pool. The Mountain Hawks are searching for their 32nd straight win against the Leopards.Â
Lehigh comes into the meet with an 0-4 record. The Leopards are 1-1 after beating Colgate and falling to Loyola.Â
While the men won 152-136 last season, it came down to the last event. The 400-yard medley group tallied a first place finish to help keep the streak alive.Â
Sophomore Aaaron Williams was a bright spot for the Mountain Hawks last season in the meet against Lafayette. Williams was on the winning 400-yard medley team and the winning 200-yard medley team. He also brought home a first-place mark in the 100-yard butterfly (49.92).Â
Tim Norris also had a couple of first-place finishes. Norris won the 50-yard freestyle (20.81) and the 200-yard freestyle (1.40.82).Â
Miles Cox was the other lone Mountain Hawk to tally a victory. Mox won the 200-yard butterfly (1:51.40).Â
Following the meet against Lafayette, Lehigh will host Drexel on Dec. 2.Â
