Mountain Hawks To Continue Non-League Schedule With Matchup Vs. Drexel

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men's soccer hits the road for another non-league contest when the Mountain Hawks take on Drexel on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Philadelphia.

The Mountain Hawks are 2-6-4 this season, and the Dragons are 5-1-4. 

Lehigh is coming off of a 1-1 draw versus Army West Point. Perry Kingson connected on his fourth penalty kick of the season in the 16th minute to give Lehigh the early lead, but the Black Knights found the equalizer in the 78th minute.

Sophomore goalkeeper Tommy Chyzowych has started the last two games in net. Chyzowych made seven saves against Delaware in a 2-2 draw and five saves against the Black Knights. .

Kingson is just one of four players in Division I to convert four penalty kicks this season. Kingson's four goals are a team-high. 

Drexel played Delaware on Oct. 7, in its most recent game.  The Blue Hens and the Dragons battled to a 3-3 tie. 

Allesandro Capogona has played in nine games in net for the Dragons. Capogona owns a .94 GAA and holds a 79.5% save percentage. 

Dominick Bachstein has a team-high of five goals for Drexel. Julian Jordheim is next with four goals. 

Lehigh and Drexel met last season at home. The Mountain Hawks were defeated 1-0 after the Dragons scored with 48 seconds remaining. Lehigh is 15-23-1 all-time against Drexel.

The Mountain Hawks return home on Saturday against Loyola for a 6 p.m. matchup at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
