Lehigh Looks to Knock Off Second Straight Undefeated Patriot League Foe

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Coming off of an overtime victory against Holy Cross, the Lehigh women's basketball team will travel to Boston University Saturday for a 4 p.m. battle with the only undefeated Patriot League team remaining.
The Crusaders and the Terriers were both 8-0 in league play before Wednesday, but the Mountain Hawks knocked off Holy Cross 76-74 in overtime.
This is the first meeting of the season between these two teams. Lehigh comes into the game with an overall record of 10-10 (6-3 PL), while Boston U. is 14-6.
Saturday's game will be a battle of two teams who like to shoot the three-pointer, and are doing it at an efficient rate. The Mountain Hawks are fourth in the nation in three-pointers made per game (9.6), and the Terriers are third in the nation in three-point percentage (40.1 %).
Mackenzie Kramer leads the league in three-point field goal percentage (45.5 %) and three-point field goals made per game (2.9). Kramer was 5-of-7 from long range against Holy Cross on Wednesday, with the biggest one coming right at the end. She nailed a three-pointer with nine seconds left in overtime, which would end up being the game-winning shot for Lehigh. Kramer tallied 21 points on Wednesday.
Frannie Hottinger recorded her 12th double-double of the season, finishing with 30 points and 11 rebounds. Hottinger was named a Big Time Performer by the NCAA after her performance on Wednesday. She now ranks eighth in the nation in double-doubles (12), eighth in points (422), 14th in points per game (21.1) and 25th in rebounding (10.1).
Anna Harvey, who leads the league in assists and assist/turnover ratio was a difference maker, dishing out nine assists, one of which was the game-winning assist to Kramer.
Lehigh is 11-9 all-time against Boston U. The Mountain Hawks have won the last three meetings.
Caitlin Weimar leads Boston University with 14.7 points per game. Preseason Patriot League Player of the Year, Sydney Johnson, is averaging 11.7 points per game. Weimar is third in the league in scoring, sitting behind Hottinger and Kramer.
