BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After an impressive effort at Colgate over the weekend, Lehigh's Women's Varsity Eight has been named Patriot League Boat of the Week, as announced on Wednesday. It marks the Mountain Hawks' first weekly award of the season after garnering Boat of the Week twice in 2021.

In the morning, Lehigh finished first in a head-to-head race against Patriot League foe Colgate, posting a time of 6:50.0 – a full 12 seconds ahead of the Raiders (7:02.0). In the afternoon's "grand final," the Mountain Hawks beat Marist by 10 seconds (6:55.4 to 7:05.4).

The Mountain Hawks (women and men) will return to the water next Saturday on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia where they'll face La Salle and Fairfield.
