Program-record 31 from women’s rowing named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's rowing program stepped up in the classroom this spring, placing a program-record 31 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Tuesday. Six Mountain Hawks led the way with perfect 4.0 GPAs while two others eclipsed 3.9.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Lehigh's 4.0s were senior Sarah Boyer (Materials Science and Engineering), senior Allison Connors (Marketing), sophomore Julia Damron (Mechanical Engineering), sophomore Tori Dorn (Computer Science), sophomore Bella Papov (Biochemistry) and sophomore Jenn Wang (Bioengineering).
In addition, junior Allie MacVicar and freshman Allison Lee each recorded identical 3.90 spring semester GPAs in Earth and Environmental Science and the College of Arts and Sciences, respectively.
The Mountain Hawks have garnered a number of academic honors over the years. Most recently, Boyer, Papov and junior Sophia Mayone all received the CRCA Scholar-Athlete Award. To be recognized, student-athletes must be in their second, third or fourth year of eligibility, must be ranked performance-wise in the top 50 percent of their team and have a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher for their career through the fall semester.
