BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Coming off a weekend series at Marshall, Lehigh will play its first midweek contest of the season with a trip to Coppin State on Wednesday. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. at Joe Cannon Stadium in Hanover, Md. The game will be covered live on live stats available on lehighsports.com.

The Mountain Hawks (1-5) are looking to break a five-game skid after winning on opening day when they enter Wednesday's matchup. Lehigh dropped a closely-contested three-game series last weekend at Marshall where one inning in game three cost LU a chance at leaving Huntington, W.Va. with a victory.

Anthony Rinaldi led all Mountain Hawks offensively on the weekend as he went 5-for-12 at the plate as he hit .417 with a slugging percentage of .917. The left fielder was the only Lehigh player to record a hit in all three games on the weekend and the only player with multiple multi-hit games in the three-game series. The senior led the team in extra-base hits with four as he hit a team-best three doubles and accounted for one of the team's three home runs on the weekend.

Ethan Frohman had another solid outing in relief for the Brown and White. The lefty threw the final 4.2 innings on Saturday and allowed just one hit without giving up a run. He surrendered one walk and posted five strikeouts to lead all Lehigh pitchers on the weekend. Frohman owns a 0.00 earned-run average through 10.1 innings of work this season.

Coppin State (1-7) enters Wednesday's contest coming off a win over Lafayette to cap off a four-game stint at Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy in Washington, D.C. last weekend. In four games, the Eagles went 0-2 against Harvard and 1-1 against Lafayette. Coppin State opened the season on a seven-game losing streak, beginning with a three-game series at Southern California, followed by a 6-5 loss to Georgetown on February 22 in the home opener.

Junior outfielder Andres Santana leads the Eagle offense as he is batting .360 with a team-high five runs scored. In 25 at-bats, Santana leads the team with nine hits and is coming off a three-hit performance to lead the team to its 3-1 win over Lafayette.

Freshman hurler Quinn Gleed has Coppin State's lone victory on the season as he owns a 1-1 record. In 8.1 innings of work this season, Gleed has giving up three runs on 11 hits for a 3.38 ERA. The freshman went 7.0 innings in the win over Lafayette as he surrendered just one run on eight hits and compiled six strikeouts.

The Mountain Hawks are 0-4 in true road games this season, while the Eagles are winless in their only home game this season. Lehigh is 19-1 all-time against Coppin State since the first meeting in 1988. Since surrendering a 6-5 victory to Coppin State on the road in 2010, Lehigh has won the last 13 meetings, including the last eight at Coppin State's home field.
