BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh men's basketball team opens the second round of Patriot League play on Sunday when the Mountain Hawks travel to Boston University for a nationally-televised matchup against the Terriers. Opening tipoff is set for 12 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. The Mountain Hawks look to ride the momentum from a strong victory against Colgate on Wednesday night.
Lehigh defeated the Raiders 79-70, ending their four-game winning streak and handing them their third loss of league play. The Mountain Hawks remained in a tie for fourth place in the standings, also pulling closer to second-place Navy, who lost on Wednesday evening. Bucknell is currently in first place with its 8-1 record followed by Navy at 6-2, Colgate at 6-3 and Lehigh/Loyola at 4-4. Sunday's opponent Boston University is just a half game back at 4-5.

It marked the fourth time this season Lehigh has shot 50 percent or better from the floor (all victories). Junior Austin Price led the way with a career-high 28 points on 10-of-15 shooting and 4-of-8 from three-point range. He also grabbed a career-high eight rebounds along with two assists and three steals. The wins over Boston University, American and Holy Cross were wire-to-wire victories.
Sunday marks Lehigh's second CBS Sports Network game this season; the first was at home vs. Bucknell and the Mountain Hawks' home game vs. Holy Cross on Feb. 15 will also be on CBS Sports Network. Lehigh will look to end its pattern of alternating wins and losses in league play. After a tough 0-7 start this season, the Mountain Hawks are 6-6 since, but are still eying back-to-back wins for the first time. Wednesday's win was Lehigh's first non-Saturday victory of the season. The Mountain Hawks are now 5-1 on Saturdays and 1-12 on every other day (with Wednesday being the first win).
Boston University is in the midst of an up-and-down season, currently standing at 4-5 in the league and 11-11 overall. After dropping its first three Patriot League games, the Terriers responded with wins over Lafayette, at American and against Loyola. Following two straight losses, the Terriers won at Army West Point last time out. Boston University is missing significant pieces due to injury, including preseason All-League honoree Cedric Hankerson and Justin Alston. Eric Fanning leads the team in scoring with a 14.1 average. Five of the six all-time meetings came after Boston University joined the Patriot League for the 2014-15 season. Boston U won the first-ever meeting in 1968-69, 81-56.
Following Sunday's game, Lehigh returns home on Wednesday (Feb. 3) to host Loyola at 7 p.m.
