BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Lehigh women's basketball team returns to Stabler Arena Sunday to host Holy Cross in nationally-televised contest to appear on the American Sports Network. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. and the game will be broadcast nationally by American Sports Network, with a list of stations available here. Video will also be available on the Patriot League Network with audio coverage on 91.3 WLVR and wlvr.org.

The Mountain Hawks are 9-7 overall and 2-3 in league play. Lehigh will be looking to bounce back from a tough road loss Wednesday at unbeaten and first-place Bucknell. The Bison rallied to force overtime before Kyi English drained a game-winning three-pointer with 1.1 seconds to play to propel Bucknell to an 80-77 overtime victory in Sojka Pavillion.

Sophomore Quinci Mann led Lehigh with 18 points behind a 7-for-13 showing from the field. Senior Amina Affini followed with 14 points. Junior Lexi Martins tallied her 13th double-double of the season with 11 points, all of which came from the free throw line, and 15 rebounds. Sophomore Bernadette Devaney scored a career-high 11 points thanks to three treys.

For the season, Martins leads Lehigh with 14.8 points per game and 14.5 rebounds per contest, a mark that ranks second-best in all of Division I. Her 13 double-doubles also ranks second in the nation. Mann follows with 13.6 points per game and is currently on a nine-game double-figure scoring streak. Senior Kerry Kinek follows with 12.3 points and 9.0 boards per contest.

Lehigh is 5-3 in Stabler Arena this season compared to its 4-4 away record. The Mountain Hawks have outscored their opponents by an average of 7.9 points per game and hold a +7.1 rebound margin.
Holy Cross enters Sunday's contest tied for second in the Patriot League standings with a 4-1 league mark that is part of a 7-9 overall record. The Crusaders' lone league loss came against first-place Bucknell (58-51), while Holy Cross has picked up Patriot League victories over Boston University (60-41), Navy (57-49), Colgate (80-71), and Lafayette (66-49).

Holy Cross and Lafayette were tied at 31 late in the third quarter Wednesday in the Crusaders' most recent action before Holy Cross embarked on a 20-4 run that went into the fourth stanza and gave the Crusaders a 51-35 advantage with 7:53 left on the clock. The Leopards weren't able to get closer than 11 the rest of the way as Holy Cross picked up a 66-49 victory. Lisa Mifsud led the Crusaders with 16 points, while Infiniti Thomas-Waheed (13) and Tricia Byrne (11) also scored in double-figures. Molly Hourigan pulled down a team-best 12 rebounds and also dished a squad-high four assists.

Preseason All-League pick Raquel Scott is out for the rest of the season due to injury. Thomas-Waheed leads the Crusaders with 13.2 points per game, while Mifsud follows with 11.6 tallies per contest. Hourigan has chipped in 8.3 points and a team-best 8.2 rebounds per game.

The Mountain Hawks and Holy Cross will be meeting for the first time since last season's Patriot League Quarterfinals when sixth-seeded Lehigh upset the No. 3 Crusaders on the road to advance to the semifinals. Lehigh swept last season's regular-season series against the Crusaders and the Mountain Hawks will be looking for their fourth-straight win over Holy Cross.

The Mountain Hawks earned a 75-62 win in the quarterfinal game of last year's Patriot League Tournament. Lehigh controlled a 40-16 lead at halftime and warded off the surging Crusaders with the help of key makes from the free throw line in the final few minutes of play. Five Mountain Hawks scored in double-figures to lead Lehigh to victory. Kerry Kinek led the balanced scoring with a team-best 17 points and squad-high eight rebounds. Sarah Williams followed with 13 points, while Quinci Mann (12), Lexi Martins (11) and Katie O'Reilly (10) rounded out the double-digit scorers.

The Mountain Hawks finished the game shooting 49.1 percent (27-for-55) from the field, 36.4 percent (4-for-11) from downtown and 60.7 percent (17-for-28) from the free throw line. Lehigh held Holy Cross to 35.4 percent (23-for-65) from the floor.

Following Sunday's game, Lehigh will hit the road to take on Navy Wednesday at 7 p.m. before returning home to host archrival Lafayette on Saturday Jan. 23 at 7 p.m.
