League-best seven named to women's golf academic honor roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh placed a league-best seven student-athletes on the Patriot League Women's Golf Academic Honor Roll, announced Monday. The seven Mountain Hawks comprise just under a quarter of the 31 Patriot League student-athletes named to the honor roll.
Leading the way for the Mountain Hawks, is sophomore Elizabeth McGarrigle, who posted a 3.95 grade point average in the spring, majoring in industrial and systems engineering. Not far behind was junior Tess Jennings, who registered a 3.88 GPA in journalism.
Senior captain Kelly Moylan earned a 3.76 in materials science and engineering. Moylan represented Lehigh on the Academic All-Patriot League team, announced following the Patriot League Championship. She earned second team all-league honors after finishing sixth at the league championship.
Also named to the honor roll were senior Melanie Dickens, junior Nicole Feierberg (a first team all-league performer) and freshmen Casey Farmer and Megan Moylan.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Lehigh finished second at the Patriot League Championship in April.
