Moravian Results | Bucknell Results
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's track and field team wrapped up a busy weekend at Moravian's Coach Pollard Invite and Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic with several successful performances.
"It's pretty obvious to us as a coaching staff that the team is starting to come around and put up pretty good marks," said head coach Matt Utesch. "The throwers were excellent again and distance and mid-distance kids are putting up really good times and are running as fast as they've run all season long. I like the way we're progressing as the league championship gets closer and closer."
At the Coach Pollard Invite, sophomore Courtney Avery earned another high jump victory with a leap of 1.69 meters. Senior Carly Deskins picked up the javelin title with a throw of 43.65 meters, while sophomore Meghan Reilly (40.12 meters) and junior Gabrielle Wardle (39.88 meters) followed behind in third and fourth place, respectively.
