BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Seniors David DiMaria and Mike Noone, junior Ty Souders and sophomore Matt Poillon were all named USILA honorable mention All-Americans on Thursday as the postseason recognition for the Lehigh men's lacrosse team continues. The four All-America honorees breaks the previous school record of three from last season. Souders and Poillon earn All-America recognition for a second straight season.

Lehigh led the Patriot League with its four honorees, Army had three and Bucknell and Colgate one each to round out the nine Patriot League players recognized.

Lehigh is up to 17 All-Americans in its program history, seven coming in the last two seasons. Last year, Souders, Poillon and Roman Lao-Gosney became the school's first All-Americans since Jeff Jenkins in 1994.

DiMaria led the Patriot League in points (73) behind 33 goals and 40 assists. He stands seventh nationally in points per game and 10th in assists. The Tewaaraton Award candidate finished the season with four straight games of five or more points, including 11 over the two Patriot League Tournament contests to earn Tournament MVP honors. DiMaria finished his career with 205 career points and leaves as one of the most decorated players in school and league history.

A First Team All-Patriot League honoree, Noone helped anchor a defense that stands sixth nationally allowing just 7.94 goals per game. He posted 33 groundballs and a team-leading 26 caused turnovers, with five groundballs and six caused turnovers coming in a monster effort against Penn. Noone and the Mountain Hawks held opponents to seven or fewer goals in eight of the final 10 games in 2013.

Poillon was named an honorable mention All-American for the second time in as many years. He continued his stellar play, finishing the season with a 7.92 GAA and 59.6 save percentage. Poillon posted double-digit saves on eight occasions, including a career-high 18 stops in the NCAA Tournament at North Carolina. The Mount Sinai, N.Y. native also made 16 saves at Villanova, 15 at Army and vs. Colgate. Poillon finished the season with an 11-3 record and is 25-6 in his career. Just two years into his career, he's already in the top 10 nationally among active goalies in career wins.

Souders teamed with Noone to form a dynamic duo at defense. The local product finished the season with career highs in groundballs (35) and caused turnovers (19) while consistently covering the opponent's top offensive threats. A Second Team All-Patriot League honoree, Souders was named an honorable mention All-American and First Team All-League performer last season. This year, Souders had six games with three or more groundballs and six games with multiple caused turnovers.

DiMaria and Noone, along with teammates Dante Fantoni and Ty Souders, will also play in the North-South Senior All-Star Game on Friday, as announced earlier in the day.

Lehigh wrapped up its second straight Patriot League Championship and NCAA Tournament campaign with a 12-5 record, becoming the first team in the league with back-to-back championships since Navy six years ago.
