WHY LEHIGH?
“I chose Lehigh because I felt it would give me a great opportunity to play lacrosse at a competitive level, and also receive an education that you can’t top. The coaching staff that I get to learn from every day is another big reason why I chose Lehigh. They’re a very young staff and I felt connected with them as soon as I stepped on campus for the first time.”

AS A JUNIOR (2012): Finished the season with a team-high 47 points (career-high 24 goals, 23 assists) … Second Team All-Patriot League honoree and member of the All-Tournament Team … Posted multiple points in 12 of his final 13 games and 13 games overall … Also had 25 groundballs and team-leading 52 shots on goal … Scored two goals (on only two shots) and added an assist in NCAA First Round Game vs. #10 Maryland (5/13) … Posted sixth-career hat trick, finishing with three goals and two assists in Patriot League Championship win at #10 Colgate (4/29) … Dished out three assists in Semifinal victory vs. #19 Army (4/27) … Tallied a key first-half goal vs. #18 Bucknell (4/14) … Scored a pair of goals at #17 Colgate (4/7) … Tied a career high with four goals, while adding three assists vs. Holy Cross (3/24). AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Eclipsed 50 points, recording 52 behind 22 goals and 30 assists … Led the team in points and assists while finishing fourth in goals … Finished second in the Patriot League in assists and third in points (also seventh and 22nd in the nation, respectively) … Turned it up down the stretch, posting 17 points over the final four games … Teamed with fellow sophomore Dante Fantoni for 99 combined points, good for the 14th most prolific scoring duo in the country … Earned Honorable Mention on the Patriot League Weekly Honor two times (3/28 and 4/25) … Stellar in the Patriot League Semifinals at #12 Bucknell (4/29), posting a team-high four points (two goals, two assists). Had a hand in four of the Mountain Hawks’ five tallies … Set a career-high eight points against Lafayette (4/23) via a career-high four goals and four assists. AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Played in all 15 games, starting in 11 … Scored nine goals and added 24 assists … Scooped up eight groundballs … Fourth in the Patriot League in assists per game with an average of 1.53.

PERSONAL: Son of Joseph and Debra DiMaria. Has four siblings: Dan, who plays lacrosse at Duke, Jaclyn (at Marist), Julia (at Northwestern), and Jennifer.

What’s your favorite thing about Lehigh? My favorite thing about Lehigh, I would have to say, is the unbelievable balance it gives you as a student. It offers a top tier academic experience, alongside great athletics and an unreal social scene. If you can manage to balance all three facets of the college life, I highly suggest Lehigh.
