Mountain Hawks place nine on PL honor roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh placed ten softball student-athletes on the Patriot League academic Honor Roll announced by the league on Tuesday. Leading the way was sophomore shortstop Jen Colquhoun, who was voted the league’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year back in May. Colquhoun, a biochemistry major, posted a 3.70 grade point average in the spring. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain at least a 3.2 GPA and compete in one of the league’s winter or spring championship sports. A total of 47 softball student-athletes were named to the honor roll.
While Colquhoun earned the league’s Scholar-Athlete Award, leading the way for the Mountain Hawks in the spring was junior marketing major Carly Potock who earned an impressive 3.91 grade point average. Joining Colquhoun and Potock on the Academic Honor Roll were seniors Lauren Eichblatt and Brooke Lewis, juniors Briana Gaumer and Sam Miller, sophomores Julie Fernandez and Hana Harrison, and freshmen Jacqi Kennelly and Rosie Roessel.
Lehigh’s ten selections ranked second among Patriot League member institutions.
