Why Lehigh?: “The strong academic reputation is what initially drew me to Lehigh. Coupled with its successful softball program, as well as welcoming atmosphere and picturesque campus, I knew it was where I wanted to spend my next four years.”
On the Lehigh softball experience: “Lehigh softball is about building trust in both yourself and your teammates. The program fosters a competitive, yet comfortable atmosphere with the commitment to not just become better softball players, but better people in the end.”
In high school… second team All-State selection as a senior… also competed in cross country and track and field… five time All-Greater Rochester selection (two softball, two indoor track, one cross country)… owns three state section V records in indoor track… was named high school’s Athlete of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year… Personal: Daughter of Jim and Donna Roessel… brothers Bryan (24) and Rob (21)… enjoys running and scrapbooking.
