Lehigh places 14 on men's lax academic honor roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League announced the 2010 Men’s Lacrosse Academic Honor Roll on Thursday and Lehigh placed 14 student-athletes on the list.  The Mountain Hawks were led by seniors Max Copelan and Evan Guerrero who both earned an impressive 4.0 grade point averages. Copelan’s 4.0 came in Finance, while Guerrero earned his 4.0 in Biology. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain a 3.2 grade point average.

 

Joining Copelan and Guerrero on the list were seniors Brian Bienemann, Taylor Castagna, Kyle Gentile, and John Henry McNierney, juniors Richard Bradley, Morgan Haller, Chris Ryan, and Jonathan Stumpf, sophomore Matt Fullam, and freshmen Bryan Hopper, Nathan Hunt, and Ryan Snyder.

 

A total of 108 student-athletes were named to the Men’s Lacrosse Academic Honor Roll, led by Army’s Andrew Maisano, who was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year for men’s lacrosse. Copelan and Guerrero were two of eight student-athletes to garner at least a 4.0 GPA.
