Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh saw its two match winning streak come to an end Tuesday afternoon, as the Mountain Hawks dropped a tightly contested match 4-3 to Bucknell at the Ulrich Varsity Courts. The Mountain Hawks started strong, capturing the doubles point winning two of three matches, but the Brown and White were outdone by the Bison in singles play as Bucknell took four of six singles contests to secure the victory and improve to 11-2, 2-1 in the Patriot League. Lehigh falls to 9-7 overall, 2-2 in Patriot League contests. After Alexis Jacobi and Starr Foster were beaten in first doubles, Maria Anorga and Gwen Dwyer, along with Ashley Donohue and Lindsay Long each picked up victories to secure the first point for Lehigh.
