Lehigh outlasts Haverford in ten innings

John Zaszewski started the game at third base for the Mountain Hawks, and he came on to pitch the ninth inning to earn his first win of the season. After Lehigh took a 7-6 lead in the tenth, sophomore Joel Hockman came out of the bullpen to earn his second save of the season.
Lehigh out-slugged the Fords, 12 hits to nine on the afternoon, but the Mountain Hawks stranded 13 runners on base. Defensively, the Brown and White were also plagued by an uncharacteristic four errors on the afternoon.
For Smith, the blast was his team-leading fourth home run of the season.
