Why Lehigh?:  “The combination of a strong athletic tradition and a good academic reputation is the main reason I chose to come to Lehigh.  The wrestling program is one of the best on the East Coast, and I wanted to stay close to home, so Lehigh was the perfect fit.”

In 2003-04: Sidelined soon after the season started with an injury…went 0-3 in duals before being forced out of action

In 2002-03:   In a season of ups and downs, Rohn lost in wrestle-offs, then strung together seven straight pre-season wins (three by fall) to win the Central Jersey Open and place 2nd at the ESU Open...The latter event included a 5-2 win over ACC runner-up Chris DiGuiseppe of North Carolina and a WBF over EIWA 5th Erik Norgaard of Columbia…injuries and a late-year slump turned things upside down for Tommy, finishing at 9-13.

In 2001-02:  One of Lehigh’s most promising young wrestlers… posted a 4-7 overall record but was hampered by injuries most of the season suffering a knee injury and a pinched nerve in his neck… biggest win was a 15-6 major decision over Blaise Mucci of Pittsburgh

In 2000-01: Rohn compiled an outstanding 13-2 mark in his deferred year, scoring three falls; one technical fall and one major… picked up a win by fall over a four-time Michigan state champ in the finals of the Edinboro Open…placed seventh at University Nationals and then second at the Junior World Trials over the summer, with a win by fall over Michigan’s first team high school All-American Foley Dowd.

In Secondary School: Finished with a career record of 140-26, 41-3 as a senior... the Pennsylvania state runner-up at 140 pounds as a senior... four-time Pennsylvania state qualifier... two-time PA regional champion... three-time District XI champion.

Personal: Son of Donald and Diane Rohn… has two sisters, Kelly and Dana… in addition to wrestling, played football at Northampton, where he was a two-time honorable mention all-state running back and was twice named to the all-area first team; was coached in high school by his father, who was a 1973 NCAA Champion for Clarion State at 134 lbs.
